Your miss is so spectacularly bad that you cut, smash, or blast your middle toe clean off. You’ll deal with the emotions of that later but for now, you can’t dash for 1 minute.

On a melee attack, your weapon gets stuck in your opponent’s armor and you lose your grip on it. You must spend an action dislodging the weapon to recover it. When you do, you provoke an attack of opportunity.
If you tried a melee attack, you missed widely enough to provoke an attack of opportunity from your target.
You create (or just now notice) a tiny sliver in between two of your fingers. You take 1 HP of damage and have disadvantage on all Concentration and Sleight of Hand checks for the next 1d4 rounds.
Wearing this ring makes you appear weak to any potential enemies. To remove the illusion from yourself, you must remove the ring.
